Each frame size is available in five options: NEMA 08, 11, 14, 17, and 23, with each motor offering between 3 to 11 different standard lead screw and nut combinations, especially regarding screw diameter and lead size. These assemblies are available with both captive and non-captive lead screw motors, featuring larger bearings that increase thrust capacity and extend service life. Hollow shaft concentricity ensures minimal screw runout, which improves the accuracy of the actuator's movement by maintaining the alignment of the screw within the motor. Preload on bearings effectively eliminates axial play, which refers to unwanted movement along the axis of the screw that can affect precision.
