Ball Screws & Lead Screws
Browse Categories
Ball screws and lead screws, precision rolled and tested to ensure straight linear motion in actuator assemblies, utilizing 1050 steel for ball screws and stainless steel with a PTFE coating for lead screws to enhance corrosion resistance and minimize friction. These components are available in screw diameters of 6, 8, and 10 mm, with lead sizes of 1, 2, and 2.5 mm. Nut configurations include cylindrical and flanged nuts for ball screws, as well as round and triangular nuts for lead screws. Ball screws are known for their higher durability and consistent lead accuracy, especially when used with NEMA motors, while lead screw assemblies present a more cost-effective solution. Some lead screw assemblies feature patented Constant-Force Anti-Backlash nuts that reduce backlash by 2-4 times compared to competing products. Many of these assemblies incorporate PowerPlus motor technology, resulting in 25% to 40% more torque. Motors are offered in five frame sizes: NEMA 08, 11, 14, 17, and 23.
