Compact Linear Actuators
Compact Series linear actuators, with a low profile height of 23 mm, ideal for applications involving tight spaces. Carriages are driven by lead screws or ball screws, with lead screw sizes available in diameters of 6, 8, and 10 mm, while ball screws are limited to a maximum diameter of 8 mm. The guide system can be in the form of profile rail (ball bearings) or gliding surface technology™ that utilizes self-lubricating FrelonGOLD® under-carriage liners to ensure smooth, quiet, and maintenance-free operation, offering benefits such as vibration damping, top performance within a wide temperature range and durability in dirty conditions. The profile rail systems prioritize rigidity, speed and precision, supporting cantilevered loads while maintaining a dynamic coefficient of friction of < 0.010. In contrast, the use of the self-lubricating liner under carriages must adhere to a 2:1 ratio rule but they otherwise cannot catastrophically fail the way ball bearing systems can.
