
Compact Linear Actuators
Compact Series linear actuators, with a low profile height of 23 mm, ideal for applications involving tight spaces. Carriages are driven by lead screws or ball screws, with lead screw sizes available in diameters of 6, 8, and 10 mm, while ball screws are limited to a maximum diameter of 8 mm. The bearings can be in the form of profile rail (ball bearings) or gliding surface technology™ (plain bearings). The profile rail systems prioritize rigidity and precision, supporting cantilevered loads while maintaining a dynamic coefficient of friction of < 0.010. In contrast, plain bearing pillow blocks under carriages have FrelonGOLD® liners to ensure smooth, quiet, and maintenance-free operation, offering benefits such as vibration damping and a wide temperature range. These plain bearings must adhere to a 2:1 ratio rule and operate with a dynamic coefficient of < 0.125.
