Linear Guides
Linear guides are mechanical assemblies designed to facilitate the smooth and precise linear movement of loads. They typically include linear rails, bearings, carriages, and may also feature shafts or raceways. We offer three primary guide types presented below. First, we provide self-lubricating Gliding Surface Technology™ guides, ideal for harsh environments such as dirt, extreme heat or vibration. These include FrelonGOLD® liners within pillow block bearings on shafts or beneath anodized aluminum carriages on smooth linear rails. Second, we offer V-groove Guides featuring v-wheels that roll either on v-rails or via hardened-steel v-groove raceways. Third, we offer Cam Roller Technology, designed for high-speed and heavy-load applications. This technology includes hardened steel or 440 stainless steel gothic arch rollers on shaft raceways, along with heavy-duty axial bearings on sturdy steel linear rails.
