Twin Roller Pillow Block - Linear Bearing TWN-08-OPN 1/2" Shaft Diameter

Twin (TWN) Roller Bearing Pillow Block for a 1/2" Diameter Shaft. Twin pillow blocks cover twice the space on a linear shaft as a single version. This pillow block has two sets of 3 opposing roller bearings mounted on this double sized twin housing, as if two Single Roller Pillow Blocks (SPB) were fused together to make a much larger bearing. This differs from the Double (DPB) Pillow Blocks which also have 2 sets of rollers but the DPB rollers are next to each other on a single sized product. 

  • Floating roller pillow blocks should be used for each opposing block when running on parallel shafts
  • The twin TWN blocks, like the double DPB blocks, have two sets of 3 opposing rollers that double the load capacity of a Single Roller Bearing Pillow Block (SPB) which has just 1 set of 3 opposing rollers
  • Each set of roller bearings consists of 1 fixed side roller, 1 eccentric side roller and a top support roller
  • No scrapers
  • No Top Grease Option
  • The eccentric opposing roller in each set helps account for any small misalignment
  • Replacement kits of the FUBK Series include just one set of 3 opposing roller bearings, so be sure to buy two FUBK replacement kits for this product and other double or twin roller bearing pillow blocks.
  • OPN signifies an open bearing style
