PBC Linear® offers a comprehensive range of linear bearings designed for durability, reliability, and performance in demanding environments. Today, we offer two main types of linear bearings: Simplicity plain bearings and ball bearings. Our plain self-lubricating linear bearings are designed for versatility, excelling in applications requiring any combination of rotary, linear, or oscillating movement. In contrast, our ball bearings are primarily used for precision linear motion.
The Simplicity Plain Linear Bearings feature a self-lubricating PTFE Frelon® liner, ensuring maintenance-free operation in demanding environments across a wide temperature range. These bearings excel in applications requiring consistent performance and minimal downtime, such as industrial automation, medical devices, and aerospace. Complementing the Simplicity line are Linear Bearing Pillow Blocks and Flanged Linear Bearings, both of which provide smooth, quiet operation and compatibility with various linear rail systems, making them ideal for high-load and precision applications.
Our Linear Ball Bearings consist of an outer ring, steel balls, and a polymer cage, enabling smooth and precise linear motion without limits. Compared to linear plain bearings, linear ball bearings generate less friction and can operate at higher speeds.
Additionally, PBC Linear® provides specialized options like Linear Die Set Bushings and Flange Mounts, Square Linear Bearings and Rails, and Linear Sleeve Bearings, all designed for specific industrial needs. These products offer features like high load capacity, vibration damping, and ease of integration into existing systems.
